Do you love network marketing and everyone else you know doesn't?

Years ago, I tried selling vitamins, health drinks, health juices, chocolates, networking courses, and weight loss.

Each and every time I tried, I failed and spent over $10,000 trying to be successful. Sound familiar?

One would think I would wise up and quit. Well, I even did that too. Several times. :)

However, I knew if I stuck it out, eventually I would become a success and make tons of dollars. I told myself, “If You Don't Quit, You Won't Fail.”

I didn't quit. I would get up and walk away a few times and take a break for several months. That is when I noticed the power of working toward my goal every day.

When I was away, the internet still kept on churning out my blogs, comments, and driving traffic to my web sites.

I was so broke that the main method of driving traffic was Traffic Exchanges and Social Communities. I had a preconceived notion that everyone on Traffic Exchanges were too poor to invest in Networking Products. That is a terrible mindset to carry toward customers.

In order to succeed in Network Marking there are three things you must do.

They are:

• Make yourself a specific goal. My first specific goal was to generate 10 leads a month.

• Make yourself a specific plan. My specific plan was to blog, use Traffic Exchanges, and promote on Social Communities by helping others first and then promoting my links when an interest was shown in my opportunity.

• Act on the plan everyday. That meant blogging, working Traffic Exchanges, and being on site

of online communities as much as possible.

The problem that gave me the trouble was two fold.

1^st was the problem of inactivity from being overwhelmed. That one problem caused me more grief and heartache than anything I had ever experienced. Finally I found a Networking System called “Elite Marketing Pro” and it came with a complete system that required a little set up and it was ready to go.

2^nd was self confidence. How would I become a leader and respected in the network marketing field with my limited knowledge of networking? There are a couple of ways to overcome this problem.

One is to throw money at it and pay someone to set up your capture pages and blogs and emails. The problem with doing that is you don't fix the original problem. What is that original problem? YOU ARE!

When I was learning to become a pilot, I dreamed of flying everywhere by myself. However, I learned with an instructor sitting in the right seat to oversee my piloting skills.

After about 4 weeks, he got out of the airplane and said, “Give me 3 take offs and 3 landings and then come back to the terminal.” After I had gone through my check list and took off, about ½ way around I realized the instructor was not there to help me. At fist panic started to kick in but then I recalled my training and started working my plan to land.

After taxing up to the terminal, I excitedly ran into the office to ask my instructor what he thought. He said, “I wasn't watching you, I was watching the game. If I had any doubts about your ability to fly the airplane, I would have never let you take off in the first place.”

Well, today, I am a successful net-worker because I made a specific goal, a specific plan, and I act on that plan every day.

Edita C.   Networker I like what you say to the last dot. I am not so far gone in trying different schemes but I tried a few and they are arrrrggg, ough..and the rest. Terry Warner   My Leads Call Me Thanks, Edita. Unfortunately, You and I don't write these splash pages. However, if we did they probably wouldn't get the click through rate we would like. Evidently, it sells and is what most networkers want. It is up to people like us, to sort through the crap, and use what does work. Thanks for your comments. Jun 23rd 2014 12:52

Once YOUR value is increased above others, they will seek you out. Pretty much like you are doing now. Mike G.   Marketer Terry, great article and I totally agree on setting a goal. A goal forces one to put an action plan together and that is the key. Don't look at immediate results just keep working to make things happen. It boggles my mind why people don't do for themselves what they know they should.
