Natural Skincare Products - The Key to Natural & Glowing Skin

by David John Consultant

Natural skincare is a high priority, and most people emphasize on using natural skincare products to ensure long life and proper care of their skin.

In the marketplace there are many skincare products, most of which contain toxins that can harm your skin in the long run. It is always good to adopt a simple, effective and natural way of skin care that includes various natural ingredients such as olive oil, honey, and lemon. Get rid of dryness, cracking, redness, and sagging of the skin with products that suit your skin type. Irrespective of the skin type, a natural skincare routine must consist of exfoliation, cleansing and moisturizing. These three steps are mandatory, as they help open the pores, remove breakouts, and finally clean it and make it glow. The products used for the individual skin types will differ, so as to match your needs.

Let's take you through the skincare routine that you should adopt for healthy and glowing skin.

Routine for Oily Skin Types

If you have oily skin, natural skincare products that increase the oil levels cannot be used on your skin. You need products that can remove the excess oil, and reduce the breakouts caused by the excess oil. Your skincare routine should involve the three steps, as mentioned earlier. For oily skin, you should mix sea salt and oil in equal parts to create a scrub, and massage it on your face. This mixture will not only remove excess oil, but also remove impurities. Cleansing involves use of oil. Here, you should mix equal parts of castor oil and olive oil to create the perfect cleansing mix for your skin. Massage it along your skin, and leave it for a while.

Moisturizing your skin should be the final step in your skincare routine. Less is good for you, and in most cases, the cleansing routine provides the necessary moisture for your skin. You can use apple cider vinegar as a toner to moisturize the skin. Add a tablespoon to water, and store it in the fridge. Always use natural makeup if you have oily, acne-prone skin.

Routine for Normal Skin Types

Taking care of normal skin in a natural way proves to be easy. This skin type has more options for skincare than the other two. Exfoliation requires homemade sugar scrub. It is easy to make, and works well with normal skin types. Cleansing includes olive or almond oil mixed in with castor oil. The olive/almond oil should occupy 3/4th of the mix, while the remaining should comprise of castor oil. A dab of coconut oil or Shea butter works well for moisturizing the skin. You can even use various homemade lotions to moisturize the skin.

Routine for Dry Skin Types

When you have dry skin, using natural oils can prevent it from becoming dry, and balance out the oil production in the skin. Homemade sugar scrub is the best way to exfoliate dry skin. You can add natural oils if you want to remove dead skin to the sugar mixture. Cleansing involves 1/4th almond oil mixed with 3/4th castor oil. You can use homemade lotion or whipped body butter to moisturize your dry skin.

Make sure you follow this routine at least once a day regularly. This will help you tighten the skin, and keep impurities and other skin issues at bay. Use of natural skincare products can prove to be a bliss for your skin, and will help your skin maintain itself through all seasons.
