NATA 2015 National Aptitude Test in Architecture

Applicants those who want to pursue higher studies in field of architecture will have to appear in NATA 2015. It is conducted by Council of Architecture, New Delhi and considered as biggest exam for the admission of applicants in architecture field. There are two exam that are conducted for the admission of applicants in architecture field, one being NATA and another is JEE Main B. Tech Arch. Since there is no official update of exam available to us but we have provided details on the basis of previous year notification.

NATA is basically an entrance exam through which applicants can take admission in B. Arch courses. It will be conducted in two parts. In first part, they will be tested for their drawing skills and in another their sensitivity will be tested.

Eligibility Criteria For NATA 2015

Applicants those who want to apply in NATA 2015 will have to satisfy the eligibility conditions described for the exam. Some of the points are mentioned below:

  • The applicants those who want to take admission in B. Arch must have first completed XII class studies. However those who have completed their X class can also appear in exam but they will not be provided admission even on qualifying the exam.
  • They must have scored atleast 50% marks in qualifying exam.

Registration For NATA 2015

To apply in exam, applicants will have to first register themselves for the exam. To do so they can follow the steps given below.

  • Visit the website of NATA 2015.
  • Access the NATA 2015 application form and fill all the details in the form.
  • Pay the fees for the form.
  • Choose the test center.
  • Visit the test center with a copy of application form and other required documents.
  • Submit these documents at the test center.

Application Fees For NATA 2015

The applicants those who want to apply for NATA 2015 will have to submit the application fees as well. Without the application fees the form will not be considered valid. The application fees for the exam is 1000/- which can be paid via net banking or credit or debit card. Fees can also be paid via challan form at any branch of ICICI bank.

The documents that need to be submitted are as follows:

  • Attested copies of X class mark sheet;
  • Passport size photographs;
  • Identity proof;
  • Application fees receipt;
  • Mail id.

The applicants those who are appearing in NATA 2015 must consider following important points:

  • Applicants must make sure that the details filled by them in the form are correct and complete in all respect.
  • Their Id must be valid as mentioned in voucher.
  • They must register themselves before the last day for registration.
  • Applicants must have all the require documents at the exam center. Moreover they must visit the exam center atleast half an hour before the exam starting time.
  • Applicants must have all the articles required for writing the exam, as no such help will be provided by the exam center.
  • After the issuing of appointment voucher for NATA 2015, applicants will not be able to make any changes.
  • Applicants must carry their identity card as it may be asked by the invigilator.
