Nano Technology - Potential Step up in Engine Lubricants Industry

by Micheal A. Industry Research Consultant

Nano Technology oil is setting a new step with the introduction of engine oils which are provided with additives based on nanotechnology. NanotEngine Lubrication with Nano Technologyechnology is a science that deals with particles smaller than a billionth of a meter. With this technology, a development in finding more and new materials and systems with unique features and functions to be used as semi synthetic lubricants in engines. For your imagination: the size of nano-particles with respect to a soccer ball has the same ratio as the size of that football with respect to the earth.

But the question is how this Technology can apply in Lubricants…?

Nanotech Auto Motor Oils are now introduced in the form of other standard oils in the market: for example, for Road applications; Nano Tech 4 + technology is used with the general viscosity of 5W-40, 10W-40, 10W-50, 15W-50.  And for Off Road applications: Nano Tech Off Road 4+ is used with the viscosity 10W-40, 10W-50, 10W-60, 15W-50.

The Nano Tech is also used a active raw material in Transmission Oil, as many motor sport companies uses Nano Trans is an advanced transmission oil for competitive Grand Prix two-and four-stroke transmissions. The mix of Nanotech additives and 100% synthetic base oils ensures excellent wear protection of the transmission and good and accurate performance of the coupling.
The life of the clutch plates is considerably extended. Nano Trans has a significantly longer life compared to conventional products which regular oil changes can be at least halved.
