Mrs Brown Boys
by Ed N. Time For a New Beginning! I attended Mrs Brown Boys Show along with my Mom and cousin yesterday evening to a sell out crowd at the 02 arena. And I have to say what a show. It was there first opening night from touring abroad. The show went on for almost 2 1/2 hours of poor entertainment of laughter. The crowd were in an applause when each cast member entered the stage. A lot of the scribe was part of the act but then at times came the ad lib, from Agnes brown, who challenged her cast, who where equally or should I say better on the return with their comments that Agnes Brown was caught of guard for seconds. One was Buster, when Agnes Brown challenged Buster what was he doing there justing sitting their in the arm chair, when he replied, isn't it in the script? Hillary and Betty were also challenged and their response just floored Agnes Brown for a couple of seconds, and this was brought further tears to my eyes along with my mother of 85 who could not stop laughing with the display of the Cathy and Agnes talking about their sex lives... A show not to be missed. Its one thing watching Mrs Brown Boys On the telly or watching it on CD. But the live show brings it to a whole different meaning of how an Irish family life could have been, in some part of Dublin, or any part of Ireland for that matter! Been there and seeing the stage layout gave you that feeling I was in my own home!Well done Agnes Brown, and to all the cast members for a night that brought tears to my eyes and a night of laughter to remember !
P.S. the show is on until Saturday the 14th December, but it maybe sold out!
