Mount Everest Base Camp
by Roselyn Diza WriterWe all love a bit of adventure to keep
ourselves excited in life. We are all busy with many commitments in our life
and cannot always guarantee that enjoyment in our life. We have to deal with
our financial problems, work commitments and personal problems, but having that
bit of excitement is very important for us too. We need that time to travel and
see new places and also explore the wilderness. Trekking is one such way to get
in touch with your wild side.
Nepal
and its beauty
There are plenty of options if you are
looking for travel in Nepal. The most obvious of them all would be the scenic
location of Mount Everest. It is known to be the highest mountain peak in the
world and just being there could mean the world for most adventurers. Most
people look at the Mount Everest Base camp as the perfect place to get going if
you are looking at a trek. Of course, there are not good roads that lead
neither up there nor to climb up the mountain. You would be better off using
the climbing trail that has been used by the villagers for years.
Make
a big group
Whenever you are planning a trek, you are
better off finding a big group to be a part of. This way you can be better
planned and can climb the mountain together. You get groups of people that are
interested in Everest trekking and you can team up with them for your trek. You
can share supplies and even be there for each other if something goes wrong.
Get
better deals when you team big
When you sign up with a bigger team, you
have the option of getting better deals at the hotel or at the trekking agency.
You will be able to talk to the tour person directly or with friend who are
interested to trek at the Mount Everest Base camp. At the
same time, you can also speak to people who have visited the location before
and ask them for details about hotels and accommodation.
Pack
right when you are going trekking
It is extremely important to pack right
when you are going on a trek. There are many places you can get climbing gear –
both online and offline. You can search for the best deals when you are buying
stuff like this. Carry a compass whenever you are travelling and based on the
weather choose your clothes. You are better off choosing jackets and
windsheeters that will keep you warm in such weather. If you have not packed
any, you will find decent ones on the way before you go Everest trekking.
If you have not packed right or if you have
realised that you have left behind some stuff, not to worry. There would be
many places near the camp you can find good trekking supplies too. Research on
different options before you decide what gear would suit you best. There is
nothing like a good trek... go live it!
