Microsoft Office 365 Update Automatically Switches Chrome Users to Bing

by Kesy Rim Office Setup

Microsoft has announced that Bing will become the new default search engine for the present users of chrome. An extension for Microsoft search in Bing will be installed to make Bing as the automatic search engine with the Microsoft office 365 ProPlus update. The decision of Microsoft has come with mixed reviews for the clients. Although some of the customers seem unaffected with the decision there are many who seems to be unhappy with the decision of Microsoft. One can easily install Microsoft Office by visiting the link

Bing in the place of Google, but why?

Microsoft seems firm in implementing the decision as it has also announced the steps to prevent the users from letting the change engrossed into their system. The tech company has asked the users to completely uninstall the search engine from preventing the change to become a part of their system. Off toggle is also present to prevent the installation of Office 365 ProPlus updates. The decision of Microsoft reminds the people of the 1998 landmark Lawsuit in which the Justice Department filed the case of Monopoly against Microsoft. Even at that time the tech company had failed and was ordered by the district U.S. court to change the decision of allowing only its own web browser in the operating system.

Bing is similar to the Microsoft search engine in the working sphere. It is as easy to find files, documents, business tools, internal websites and relevant information on Bing as it was on Microsoft search engine. No extra setup will be needed for switching to Bing. Only the update of office 365 ProPlus is sufficient to make the transition. The first version to make the switch happen is the 2002 version of Office 365 ProPlus. As for now, the switch will happen only in selected locations including Australia, India, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and the United States of America. The tech company may make the transition in a different location after looking at the success of the transition in presently announced countries.
