Quality education: A vital tool for advancement for India

by Simran Kashyap Hi Everyone, I am Simran. I love to read and write

Quality education is a very important factor for the development of any country. Education can liberate us from ignorance, poverty, incompetency, unemployment and many more things that hinder an individual, as well as a nation’s growth. It is the reason most countries are trying to focus on improving and aligning its education system. The Right to Education Act (RTE) makes education mandatory for children up to age 14; Indian government tries to give education to all students. But we cannot ignore that because of overpopulation and lack of facilities, students are not getting quality education. Owing to that, many non-government organizations (NGOs) are working in India. One of them is the Maa Foundation. MAA FOUNDATION is a charitable (not-for-profit) organization, founded by the Bilakhia family for bringing about large-scale educational reforms in the society. Aim of the foundation is to develop working projects that are scalable and process driven so that the same can be replicated by other corporate entities and High Net worth Individuals (HNI’s), thereby leading to larger societal benefit.

Education makes a better society

Education is an important aspect that plays an important role in the modern, industrialized world. People need a good education to be able to survive in this competitive world. One of the most important benefits of education is that it improves personal lives and helps the society to function smoothly. By providing education, poverty, unemployment, superstitions, and many more problems can be minimized / removed and every person can provide his/her positive contribution to developing the country.

As a social being, it is our responsibility to give something back to the society and make it a better place for the next generation.

Education augments opportunities

Education has the power to create opportunities. Education allows individuals to turn their dreams into a reality. It helps to intensify with the amount of knowledge you gain. Thus, it opens infinite opportunities to achieve better in both career and personal life. It makes one understand their own self and expand their interests.

Education improves science and technology

Technology, like science, also inspires students to think and form questions based on what they see and learn; this leads them to want to gain further knowledge and understanding which they are then able to pass onto others. For children, computer technology has provided an indescribable wealth of resources, information and knowledge; since the introduction of the internet, students are now able to access information on whatever subject they want, wherever they want.

Practically, students can work much faster using a computer which enables them to do more study in the same period of time.

We are surrounded by technology and the products of science every day.

Ideally, teaching the scientific method to students is teaching them how to think, learn, solve problems and make informed decisions. These skills are integral to every aspect of a student’s education and life, from school to career.

Education is directly proportional to income

Development of any country depends on the economic development of that country. India has the youngest population in the world. If Indian youth get proper education and develop future skills, Indian economy will correspondingly grow faster.
