This generation comes with petrol and diesel engines. Petrol engines include the GL350 with a 3.0L V6 twin-turbo engine producing 329 hp, the GL450 with a 4.7L V8 or 3.0L V6 twin-turbo engine producing 362 hp, the GL550 producing 429-449 hp, and the GL63 producing 550-577 hp.
