Meesho RTO Charges big problem for suppliers

If you are supplier on meesho you should know about meesho rto charges because meesho has changed the policy and its worse than previous policy many suppliers already left meesho because this is very bad policy, supplier will get nothing because meesho rto charges are too high just like snapdeal. If you don’t know about snapdeal’s return policy then you don’t know anything about selling online. Let me explain , snapdeal changed their policy for return charges and that was you have to pay both side rto charges if order gets cancelled or returned.

Meesho RTO Charges just like scam ?

I think this is just like a scam which is done by meesho because if you are supplier in meesho you will face high cancellation and returns and now they are deducting money from your outstanding amount if an order gets cancelled or returned. They will deduct for both side courier charge from your outstanding amount. Suppose you are a new supplier and you received three orders and one order is delivered to customer and other two are returned then they will deduct the rto charge from your delivered order’s amount and your outstanding amount will be in negative amount. It means you have lost one product or you gave it to customer in free of cost because you will not get the payment of delivered order. So i will say this is just like a scam.

Why my orders are being rto?

Supplier
Logistic Partner
Reseller

You could be responsible if you have sent wrong size or different product to customer so it should be returned because you sent wrong product to cusotmer.

Sometimes logistic partner do not complete their task i mean they don’t call customer twice or they don’t visit customer home if customer promise to take order next day. They mark order as returned or incomplete address.

Most orders are getting cancelled and returned because of reseller fault they do not fill correct address or mobile number. High price amount also a reason of cancellation or rto because reseller sells product in high amount if a product is listed on meesho of Rs.600 they take margin 1000 and they sell that product in Rs.1599 i’m saying this because i have faced same issue. My shoes were listed on meesho in Rs.599 they sold that in Rs.1599 and that order was returned.

Where you can check rto charges?

You can see rto charges of an order in payment section, you will see all deduction from delivered orders or you outstanding amount would be in negative amount. Meesho is deducting Rs.278 as rto charge in footwear category. Check your category.
