Meal Plan Ideas to Host the Perfect Garden Party in Summers

It’s always worth the effort to host a garden dinner party for your friends and family. While you can always get takeaway food for your guests, it is a better idea to cook some delicious food for them. It might seem like a struggle to entertain guests and prepare and bring delicious food on the table. We have the perfect meal-plan designed for you and your guests for a buffet style garden party. Courgette Fritters

Mix some grated courgettes, salt, pepper, ground garlic, thyme, basil, flour, parmesan cheese. Scoop the batter and shallow fry in olive oil until golden brown. Serve with a side of coriander chutney.

Bruschetta Two Ways

For the first one, top with bocconcini, cherry tomatoes, basil leaves, and balsamic vinegar. For the second one, top with hummus, sundried tomatoes, and parsley.

Creamy Risotto

Prepare this rice recipe that is hearty and delicious. Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes before cooking. Sauté a few garlic cloves, zucchini, chopped porcini, button mushrooms in olive oil. Add parmesan, salt, pepper, thyme, lemon zest, and rosemary. Add the rice and ladle in some vegetable stock. Keep adding the stock until the rice is fully cooked. Garnish with fresh lemon zest.

Garlic Bread

Mix vegan butter, coconut sugar, nutmeg, milk, egg, flour, yeast, garlic, rosemary, thyme and a pinch of salt. Add the wet mixture in the dry mixture. Form a pliable dough and prove for 2 hours before forming small balls. Grease a baking tray and place the buns. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with a side of basil pesto.

Sweet & Spicy Carrots

Blanch some baby carrots in boiling water. To make the glaze, add honey, sugar, rosemary, salt, pepper in a jar and shake well. Sauté some garlic in olive oil and add the tender carrots. Pour over the glaze and coat oil.

Rosemary Potatoes

In a baking tray, add halved baby potatoes. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Garnish with fresh rosemary leaves.

Butter & Garlic Gnocchi

You can use store-bought gnocchi for this recipe. Sauté some garlic, thyme and green peas in olive oil. Add the gnocchi with few knobs of butter. Cook for 10 minutes. Garnish with chopped mint and lemon zest.

Pavlova with Fresh Berries

For dessert, prepare a fluffy meringue and place in a baking tray. Bake at 450 for 30 minutes. Layer the pavlova with some lemon curd. Garnish with some macerated strawberry, raspberry, lemon zest, and mint.
