Millions of people have limited access to the necessities of life. Some are struggling for the basic needs like- food, water, clothing & shelter. The major population of India still stands below the poverty line.

There are around 821 million people struggle for food every day in the world. Helping the poor and needy is one of the tasks taken care by NGO. NGO or Non-profit Government Organization helps people who are below the poverty line and cannot survive on their own.

Manav Kartavya is one of the leading NGO working for needy people. We have been relentlessly working in past 3 years to equip poor people with the basic needs like- education, healthcare, safety & security etc. Taking care of one’s basic needs will help in the personal and economic growth of the citizen. This will eventually add to the growth of the country.

We are helping children of various ages by providing them good education for a brighter future. The Ngo working for needy people by providing them learning opportunities, access to healthcare, protection, relief and rehabilitation during natural calamities & emergencies. We utilise the donations efficiently by conducting social welfare projects for the needy people & children.

Our NGO organizes different types of fund-raising activities including but not limited to- marathons, social events, concerts, blood donations etc. The latest popular fund-raising activity is Crowdfunding. It is a social project in which a small amount of money from a large group of people can be raised through the internet or social media. We have received funding for various projects via this medium which has helped us in serving the needy.

Be a Volunteer for a social cause:

NGOs do not require money only, they need time and effort from the people around. We have many volunteers associated with our organization. They have helped us in various social welfare projects- teaching kids, providing vocational training to youth, helping poor housewives with employment opportunities. Our volunteers are working hard to make poor and needy people independent and self-reliant.

Poverty can only be removed by the collective effort of the whole society and not just by hard work of few individuals. NGOs organised campaigns to address various issues- shelter, education, healthcare, employment etc. Social media has been helpful in generating awareness for various issues. This has helped us to get monetary support as well guidance from throughout the world.
