Make Your Own Water Park!

by Jack Rudolph Water trampolines

What’s stopping you from making your own water park to complement your summer camp, resort or waterfront hotel? Adding stationary inflatable aqua sports equipment will turn cardiac exercise on the water an event your guests will be lining up to participate on.  The market now has a variety of stationery products to build a water entertainment center that can compete with a miniature version of “Wipe Out”.   Who has not secretly  wanted to be on that show  and take the challenge of their wacky obstacle courses and then take a plunge. So go ahead, dream big and create your own floatable stationary water adventure land that will keep your guests   entertained as they jump, bounce and slide around for hours on end. Or you could build your very own water park outside your lakeside cottage for hours of family fun on the water.

To get started building your stationary  inflatable aqua sports equipment adventure land start with a few core items such as a water trampoline, a platform, slide walk and possibly a water log.  Then add slides, climbing icebergs, and even a separate water blob close by  if you so wish.  The best part, is that you can rearrange the stationary aqua  equipment as many times as you want creating a whole new experience.Your imagination is your only obstacle! Choose your items wisely taking in to consideration the age and skill of the users.

A water blob is in a category all by itself. Your older guests will not be able to resist the draw of the blob!  But it is not for the faint at heart thats for sure.  It is an individual sport and  cannot be connected to your stationary aqua playground.  It needs adequate space and  deeper water, and a platform at a reasonable height. It is highly recommended that for commercial use, you have a lifeguard or 2 stationed on a floating dock away from the blob, but close enough to reach a launched guest in case of an emergency.  It is also highly recommended that participants go through a brief but thorough training class before they jump from the platform to “launch” someone, or they get blobbed!   The thrill quality and excitement that it will generate is bound to be unprecedented as well!

So, any combination of water parks will create a fun and active playground on the water where you, your family and friends or your customers can cavort and frolic the day away.  But you have to keep in mind that safety is most important and therefore, opt for quality water sports equipment from brands that are renowned for their safety features.

Once purchased, the inflatable equipment has to be installed and anchored correctly in the water, as per the instructions that come with the water blobs, water trampolines or water slides. This may take a day or even two depending on the product and its size.

Additionally, all water sports equipment have to be cared for and maintained properly on a regular bases while in use. This will prevent damage from the simultaneous exposure to sun, air and water. Ensuring proper degree of inflation at all times is equally important for product durability as well as user safety!

Proper deflation, cleaning, drying and storage of the water trampolines, water blobs and water slides will ensure that your inflatable water sports equipment lasts for many years to come.

So, go ahead and build your own “Wipe Out” stationary  aquatic playground, be creative, be safe and have a blast!
