From the outside, looking at this statement may not seem true, but once you understand how everything works on the Web, you'll realize you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

I could earn revenue online from my website, displaying ads, paid sponsorships, and selling digital products. Creating my website turned out to be profitable. I gained 100% profit from monetizing ads, selling digital products, and paid sponsorships.

Then, I found multiple ad revenue-sharing platforms to market my website and gain 50% of the profit margin on different platforms. These platforms were beneficial for the time being, but I failed to save my articles, consequently, I lost several articles once these sites closed.

Years later, I searched for alternative ways to generate capital. The next opportunity I took advantage of was affiliate networks. To tell the truth, I liked the structure affiliate networks used to compensate associates.

Even more, affiliate networks were easier to promote because customers were already searching for the product I was promoting. The vendors that I partnered with pre-developed remarkable marketing campaigns. I just put the product in front of the customer.

On top of that, it took less time to make money as an associate, as opposed to monetizing ads as a publisher. Most publishers who monetize ads on their respective platforms rely on traffic from search engines to gain traffic, which takes time. In addition, you need thousands of visitors to generate profits from advertisements.

Drive Traffic to Your Site

Getting traffic was never an issue for me because I always committed myself to research. To tell the truth, I learned how to gain traffic while researching other matters. Nevertheless, once I found different marketing strategies, I would always make a point to research even more.

To put it in perspective, no matter which business endeavor or online opportunity you pursue, it is important to do your homework. Many times you'll find more information than what you're looking for; which may not be of use at the time but will be of value in the long haul.

On a final note, it's critical to stay organized and keep track of your resources and material. I had to learn the hard way throughout the years, losing material worth around six figures. Nevertheless, as mentioned earlier, "failure can sometimes be the best teacher”.
