And not to be left over this list the famous Bar Solom this stylish two-storey bar and club is found by the side of Chaweng Beach Road, at the start of Soi Bar Solo, and is a popular choice for kick-starting the night. Samui’s finest Ibiza-style club has a cool, sleek look as well as six plasma screens showing major sporting events, a pool table and half-price cocktails from 14:00 to 20:00.

 

In Bophut you should not miss Coco Tams located just outside of The Wharf Samui. It is a very nice easy going rustic beach bar.

In Lipa Noi you should go and check out Nikki Beach Samui, considered one of the sexiest places on Earth. Featuring chic settings, festive atmosphere, top-notch catering, and deliciously potent cocktails, Nikki Beach Samui is a trendy venue that has all the assets for a memorable day (and night) on a cool tropical beachfront.

One of the best reasons to make Koh Samui your vacation destination is the ocean water; the waters of this beautiful island are crystal clear, making for some of the snorkelling and scuba diving in the world. If you've never gone scuba diving before, there's no time to start like the present; you'll find plenty of schools scattered along the coastline that are willing to teach you.

Chaweng Stadium holds matches every Monday and Friday, while you can see fights every Saturday at the Lamai stadium.

To see what life may have been like more than a century ago, be sure to visit Koh Samui's oldest standing house in Ban Thale. This structure was made out of teakwood without the use of any nails. Built out of teak planks and adorned with traditional Thai woodcarvings, this house can show you some of the decorative motifs and styles that can still be seen in Thai design today.
