Luxury Tours

Luxury tours for some would entail or at least involve; a splashing in the swimming pool water in a 5 star hotel or playing in the white sand beaches of prominently known locales or shopping in the big malls with all the famous brands of the world under one roof. Still for others a luxury tour should bring out a unique and endearing attribute of a site, location or place.

Mountains and Deserts often evoke a sentiment or feeling of mysticism, mythology, adventure and discovery. The Himalayas, the world’s tallest (Mount Everest) form a range of peaks that have shaped the course of mountain exploration. They are the bedrock (strength) of much Asian culture and the foundation for several cultural forays in the Asian hinterland (region).

The Himalayas

The Himalayas which touch several countries including (India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bhutan, Tibet, Afghanistan and Myanmar) form a substantial or significant part of India’s breathtaking landscapes with exceptional views and are of a high geographical significance and interest.

In India, the Himalayan range stretches in a region of contrasting civilisation yet with rich culture and traditions. The greatest cultural and scientific explorers agree to the fact, the huge contribution that the Asian cultural sensibility and ethos has touched and even transformed many thoughts and mindsets. The Indian film industry (Bollywood) has a long tradition of making movies with the Himalayan ranges in Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh. The cool climes in the region favour a variety of outdoor sports and adventure activity.

Rajasthan

A luxury tour of India; Royal Rajasthan and a Himalayan odyssey, would be incomplete without the experience of the earth’s or the world’s most enduring and endearing geographical fascinations and marvels - a desert. Deserts too have in a sense that recurring nudge to explore, to adventure, a mystical rendezvous with the unknown, unseen. A glimpse and recollection into all the luxury of India of the old and bygone era of this heritage civilisation.

Rajasthan; the land of the erstwhile kings (maharajas), is known for its; forts, palaces, temples, colourful cultural festivals and attires, hospitality of the local people and the royal splendour and luxury of the previous maharajas (kings) and maharanis (queens).

The desert plains of the Thar Desert are predominantly in the state and cover the border districts of the state Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bikaner and Jodhpur stretching to the neighbourhood of India’s vast arid terrain and international border.

Learning and Exploring

Learning and Exploring, the luxury tour of India in this aspect brings all the unique and remarkable traditional celebration of an ancient culture, geographically domineering mountains, ancient traditions of the maharajas, the old architecture of ancient times and of festivals which celebrate the colourful banner of life.
