Lumsing Usb Car Charger Car Cigarette Lighter Socket

by Shulan Xiao autoboss scanner
Most of the in car charger  products I look at are usually multi USB ports for the cigarette lighter socket, which is understandable given how common many devices are that use USB for power and charging. However Lumsing have taken a different route here offering a 3 port socket and a top USB port that runs at 2.1 amps.

This gives you a fairly decent ability to charge a lot of products or run them off a single socket which is handy if you have a Sat Nav installed in the car (which I do and it takes up the single socket on it's own)

The device is nicely made with a strong cable that's about 50cm long (this is quite thick which is a bonus to resist damage and cable tangle), likely long enough for most users to place it in a cut out near the socket my car has one next to the lighter socket and behind the hand brake. You also have a set of 2 sticky pads on the bottom to use if you want to attach it to another area, this could be useful for some car/vans/campers or MPV's where you have a rear socket to use too.

Size wise it's about as compact as you can get for a Usb Car Charger 3 port design, the plastics are of decent quality, the sample I tested was black with a clear top... and it feels well put together and likely to survive in normal use. The maker states it has the usual circuit protection built in, and can take up to 70w power output in total, I'd be surprised if you get near to this number even fully loading it up and using the USB charging port. A simple but effective device that's good value, whilst not everyone wants 3 sockets this is welcome break from the usual only USB port charger docks I've used and seen.
