Lips filler with Paris Lip technique

by Aspire Aesthetics Aesthetics Clinic | Facial Aesthetics

Lip Filler: the injecting treatment for the lips is not always necessarily aimed at increasing them. In fact, there are different needs that can lead to the request for an aesthetic intervention on the lips. The treatment of the edge of the lips remains a fundamental point in the treatment of this interesting anatomical area, because it does not increase the volume of the lips but defines them. The purpose of an edge treatment with a lip filler it can therefore be aimed at different objectives such as for example a rejuvenation of the lip filter and cupid's bow. In fact, these areas tend to flatten with age and lose their natural curvature, but they can be corrected by filling the edge of the lips. Still in people who have those unsightly vertical wrinkles above the lips known as "barcodes" linked to abuse of the sun and the continuous use for years of cigarettes, they are partially correctable by infiltrating only the edge of the lips. A frequent problem is the lipstick that snorts, especially in ladies of a certain age with the loss of turgidity of the lips associated with the formation of vertical wrinkles and also in this case the filling of the edge of the lips fully solves this problem. Finally in young patients,

Rebalance the lips with the Paris Lip technique

One of the techniques that still make collagen regret is the one called Paris Lip. This was the most used technique ever to remake the lips when there was only collagen. Long-standing aesthetic doctors know well what I mean.

The Paris Lip technique consists in infiltrating the lips on the edge, between the white part and the red part along the whole profile. There was no better biomaterial than collagen and the lips made with the Paris lip technique, stood out compared to all those made with other techniques and other biomaterials. Then with the advent of hyaluronic acid something has changed, in the sense that the effect obtained with collagen was no longer perfectly reproducible with hyaluronic acid. The reason is attributable to the intrinsic characteristics of hyaluronic acid, which just injected being hygroscopic and recalling water immediately, generates a sort of small peripheral swelling of the infiltrated area, such as to cause the definition to be lost at the edge of the lips. After the treatment, after a couple of days, this call of water runs out and there is a small flattening of the hyaluronic acid that adapts under the pressure of the tissues, making part of the effect it was aimed at lose, that is, the projection of the edge of the lips. For these reasons, this technique has now gone into the background, by some it has been almost abandoned and over time different techniques have emerged able to highlight the lips using biomaterials other than collagen, such as hyaluronic acid. However, among the experts there are still many, who think that “…. The results obtained with the Paris Lip technique and collagens were far superior to those obtained today with hyaluronic acid ". Paris Lip with Carboxymethylcellulose Filler

In the panorama of news, the release of a reabsorb able filler such as hyaluronic acid but of plant origin. The carboxymethylcellulose-based filler in fact, unlike hyaluronic acids, is not immediately hygroscopic and has characteristics of resistance to the pressure of the tissues higher than hyaluronic acids, this means that it remains at the point where it is injected and suffers less flattening by pushing the tissues. Like collagen, therefore, the carboxymethylcellulose does not swell immediately and remains in the injected point, therefore perfectly under the edge of the lips, accentuating the projection and with a view to technological advancement produces an improvement in the result in the following weeks for a controlled hydration process having a duration compatible with that of hyaluronic acids.

Today with carboxymethylcellulose finally you can get an effect that closely resembles collagen with the Paris Lip technique and patients who routinely use hyaluronic acid for the lips and switch to carboxymethylcellulose always notice the difference and ask the next time to repeat the "... last time treatment".

Concluding the release on the market of a carboxymethylcellulose filler must have made many doctors happy, who loved the effect of collagen on the lips and who had to change their infiltration technique over the years, to adapt it to the use of hyaluronic acids. I personally believe the carboxymethylcellulose has bridged a gap that has always existed in the lip fillers and with the exclusive use of hyaluronic acid in the injective treatment of the lips , which despite giving natural results, has difficulty producing a good definition of the lip fillers in Belfast, as it was in able to make collagen.
