Consistently around 4 to 5 lakhs aspirants appear for National Defence Academy exam, out of which ten thousand applicants clear. Next, they confront SSB. Following 3 years of preparing all cadets are given a graduation level degree of BA/BSc / BCs with the subject Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Aside from scholarly preparing they are likewise prepared in open air skills, similar to Physical Training, Drill, games and Sports. Life of Cadets at National Defence Academy:

All cadets are apportioned with bicycle, academy number & a Squadron which is essentially turns into his home for training duration. Every cadet is given his very own room. There are total 18 Squadrons which are named as Alpha, Charlie, Echo, Golf, India, Bravo, Delta, Foxtrot, Hunter, Juliet, Lima, November, Panther, Kilo, Mike, Oscar, Quebec & Romeo. Regiment Number 1, Number 2, Number 3 & Number 4 Battalions have 4 squadrons each (in sequential order request) & Number 5 Battalion has 2 squadrons. Every Squadron has around 100 to 120 cadets partitioned similarly in 6 terms.

Training:

Daily Routine:
