LeBron James Voted to Be All-Star Team Captain and Other Sports News
by kapil Mehta # Guest BloggerLeBron is still at
the prime of his game after being selected by fans and NBA players to start in
the upcoming NBA All-Star Game in 2021. The game will take place in
Atlanta this March 7th. This is the 17th time he will participate in the
event, and he is ranked 3rd as far as the number of times playing in the
All-Star game is concerned. The first one is Kareen Abdul-Jabber, who played 19
times. He is followed by Kobe Bryant, who played 18 games. All of them are from
the LA Lakers.
James will be
joined by Stephen Curry, Luka Dončić, Nikola Jokić and Kawhi Leonard. They will
team up for the Western Conference, and they will face Kevin Durant, Giannis
Antetokounmpo, Bradley Beal, Joel Embiid, Kyrie Irving from the Eastern
Conference.
Kevin Durant Misses Fourth Consecutive Game
Kevin is not
playing for the fourth game in a row due to a hamstring strain. His team is
facing the Los Angeles Clippers. Steve Nash mentioned that this is not a
long-term injury. Because of the absence of Kevin, Steve said that the team would
be cautious when playing.
The injury
happened during a game against the Golden State Warriors. This was his first
game after having to sit back due to the pandemic. The strain on his hamstring
is said to be mild. At first, they thought he would only miss two games, but
this is the fourth already.
A further word
from Steve Nash, the Nets Team Coach, revealed that there is no definite time
for Kevin Durant’s return. However, he also said that it is unlikely for Kevin
to sit out on the upcoming All-Star game in March. If Kevin does not play, this will also have an impact on
sports betting, as he is a superstar who leads his team to victory. If you are more

Chris Paul, who is
playing as a point guard for the Suns, now has 9,888 assists. The next one he
has to bear, Magic Johnson, has 10,141. Paul is bow 35, and experts have doubts
as to whether or not he will be able to accomplish this next feat.

The All-Star Selection Has Weird Votes
We recently
learned the 10 starters for the upcoming NBA 2021 All-Star game. The reserves
will be announced next. On March 4, LeBron James and Kevin Durant will be
announcing their picks. After that, we expect that there will be a lot of
discussions as to why some players were selected and why some were not.
One weird thing
that happened this time was that Anthony Davis got the most fan votes. However,
he was not picked as a starter. So far, this is good because he has a calf injury,
and he will likely miss the game anyway.
On the other hand,
the player with the least fan votes is Nate Hinton. He has only played for 19
minutes in his career, but 238 fans voted for him.
