For the first time in its history, Kala Ghoda Art Festival does not have any title sponsors and is completely crowdfunded from Ketto.org wherein patrons of art can support to carry forward the festival’s legacy in preserving Mumbai’s cultural heritage.











For over two decades, the popular Kala Ghoda Arts Festival has been an important part of Mumbai’s rich history. This year, in its 21st edition, visitors will be able to witness a plethora of workshops, performances, stalls and artwork installations.

For the first time in its history, Kala Ghoda Art Festival does not have any title sponsors and is completely crowdfunded from Ketto.org wherein patrons of art had shown their support to carry forward the festival’s legacy in preserving Mumbai’s cultural heritage. This year, the organisers have arranged heritage walks, stand up comedy, theatre, stalls giving impetus to local artisans and visual art and literature focussing on Mumbai’s heritage. Photographs by Society tea have been showcased with an aim to highlight the income disparity of Mumbai. Moreover, the organisers have taken up many restoration projects across the city which includes includes the restoration of Ruttonsi Muljee Jetha Fountain, Wadia Clock Tower and Horniman Circle Garden.
