jumpsuits for women

by Shivendra Saxena Fashion Blogger

Originally coming into existence as the outfit for divers (no wonder it’s called a jumpsuit!), it was the famous Yves Saint Laurent who transformed the idea of a jumpsuit and brought it into the glamour world and look where it is now! No woman’s wardrobe is complete without a jumpsuit that is her saviour in difficult times. Believe it or not, jumpsuit is a symbol of modernity even today.

Jumpsuit is the lazy girl’s perfect go-to. After you have bought yourself the jumpsuit of your dreams, you just need to take care of what shoes to pair it with, what bag to carry with it and consider minimal accessorizing. Ease and subtlety are major elements when it comes to wearing a jumpsuit. And apart from being a ruler of lazy dressing, the jumpsuit is also the ruler of the fashion world. It’s not just known for solving daily outfit dilemmas, but even celebrities can’t keep their hands off of this clothing piece. Celebrities are seen wearing these to red carpets and ditching the usual heavy gowns and slip dresses. Jumpsuits are one of the most versatile pieces of clothing and so transitional that it can go from day to night, from spring to summer, and even from work to party later! What else can women ask for? A complete outfit in itself, the ideal jumpsuit saves you time that you might sometimes waste in pairing and coordinating.

Jumpsuits have been around for a while so it’s only natural that they have undergone some modifications and style changes. Although there are various designs and styles in jumpsuits, let’s look at the key ones:

Rompers: The summer friendly jumpsuits, rompers are jumpsuits with short legs. They are a popular dressing option to beat the heat in style. With drawstring for a gathered waist, rompers are playful and fun. Pair them white sneakers or sports shoes for a day out with friends.

Structured Jumpsuits: This category works best for work wear for formal wear. Structured jumpsuits come in cropped legs or full legs that are usually flared or straight. For a relaxed and sophisticated look, flared legged jumpsuits are the best. They look glamorous and decent. You can pair the full legged ones with heels. You can also work these for a party or some other special event. Or even better, you can wear the same jumpsuit to work and then following later to the party!
