In the year 2014 the class 12th examinations were held in the month of March and the results for the same were announced on 13th May 2014. All these examinations play an important role in the life of students. This is because the future prospects of the same are dependent on the same.

For the year 2015, the timetable for class 12th examinations are stated below. Students appearing for these examinations need to be extremely careful cautious when it comes to the preparation of these examinations.

The Jammu and Kashmir state board of education is considered the main board of school education in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The board of education is an autonomous body under the administration of the state government of Jammu and Kashmir. Around 10,609 schools are affiliated to the board and it employs approximately 22,300 teachers. The main objective of this board is to provide quality education to the students and promote equality of opportunity by providing necessary facilities. Adding on, all activities related to the board and education are regulated, controlled and developed by the state of Jammu and Kashmir up to the higher secondary level by providing varied courses and also to award certificates to the successful candidates. The JKBOSE 12th board results 2015will be announced in the month of May.

As far as the composition of the board is concerned, the board consists of chair of the board, director of the school education, the commissioner, a representative from each of the two universities of Kashmir and Jammu.

The board has several functions to perform. For instance, the Jammu and Kashmir board of education is empowered to specify the courses of instruction and create syllabi for the students to read as well as to select textbooks for the elementary, and secondary schools and for the higher secondary level ; and conduct inspections of recognized institutions at secondary.
