JEE Main 2019 Basic Details

JEE Main 2019 will be conducted for the admission of the candidates in the engineering courses. The candidates can take admission in one of the institutes that accept JEE Main score for providing admission to the candidates. Apart from Main exam, the Advanced exam is also conducted. The candidates those who qualify the main exam will be able to appear in the advanced exam. The exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Other details for the JEE Main Exam are provided below.

JEE Main 2019 Important Dates

The application form for JEE Main 2019 will be released in the first week of September 2018. The last date for submitting the application form will be in the last week of September 2018. The JEE Main 2019 Admit Card for the registered candidates will be available from the first week of March 2017. The fees for the exam can be paid till the first week of April for offline mode and till the second week for the online exam. The result for the exam will be released till the last week of April 2017.

JEE Main 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the exam, the candidates need to satisfy all the eligibility conditions for the same. Without being eligible, their application form will not be accepted. The various eligibility conditions for JEE Main 2019 are:

  • The age of the candidate must be born on or before 1 October 1994. Relaxation of 5 years has been provided to the candidates of SC, ST and PwD categories.
  • For B. Tech course, the candidates must have passed class XII with Physics, Mathematics, English (Language) and any one of the following: chemistry, biotechnology, biology, technical vocational subject.
  • They must have also scored a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate (65% for the candidates belonging to the SC, ST or top 20 percentile.)
  • For B. Arch/ B. Planning, the candidates must have passed class XII with mathematics and secured 75% marks in it.
  •  The candidates those who have passed their class XII or equivalent in 2018 or those who are appearing in 2019, are eligible for the exam.
  • Maximum of three attempts will be allowed for the candidate.

JEE Main 2019 Application Form:

After checking the eligibility for JEE Main 2019, the candidates can fill their application form. Only eligible candidates will be allowed to do so. The applications of the ineligible candidates will not be accepted under any circumstances. The candidates can appear for the exam via online mode only.

They must make sure that the details entered by them are correct and complete otherwise the JEE Main 2019 Application form will not be accepted. The candidates will also have to pay the application fee for the exam. It can be paid using net banking, credit card, debit card or e-challan as well.
