Importance of Hajj in Islam

Hajj is performed in the remembrance of great sacrifices that Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) gave in the way of Allah Almighty. It is the 5th pillar of Islamic Faith. For every Muslim who is financially able and mentally, physically fit; Hajj is obligatory. Hajj is performed from the 8th to 12th of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic year. Rituals of Hajj

The following are the primary, most important rituals of Hajj.

1. Performing Hajj al-Tamatt’u prior before 8th of Dhu al-Hijjah.
2. Entering the state of Ihram again nice with the Niyyah of Hajj.
3. Traveling to Mina.
4. Wafuq and Mount Arafat.
5. Offering Prayers in Muzadalifah.
6. Rami in Mina.
7. Nahr (Sacrifice of an Animal) – Goat, Sheep, Camel or a Cow.
8. Halq. 
9. Performance of Tawaf and Sa’i.
10. Repeat Stoning (Rami) at Mina After Sunset on 11th and 12tH day of Dhu al-Hijjah.
11. Perform Tawaf Al Wida (Farewell Tawaf).
