Writing Content To Keep Your Readers Engaged
Here Are 3 Tips To Writing Content That Keeps Your Readers Engaged
Today, I want to share with you 3 tips on how you can create content that keeps your readers engaged by PRWeb……ENJOY!
Are you ready?
Let’s begin…..
Tip#1 – Tell a Story
Think like a journalist.
-
Answer the five key W’s within your first paragraph: who, what, where, when and why.
-
This gives readers a quick snapshot of the content.
-
The following two to three paragraphs of the article or post should include additional details about your story.
Tip#2 – Optimize
Repeat the keyword you optimized your headline with in the body of the release.
-
This helps your ranking with search engines, and it helps potential customers to find you.
-
Including hyperlinks within the body of your article or post that will also help build traction for your content.
-
Link to your own website first, but also consider linking to informative websites (such as Wikipedia pages) that are relevant to your content or your brand.
Tip#3 – Proofread
Typos live forever online.
-
Have at least one other person proof your article or post.
-
This includes fact-checking contact information, such as emails and phone numbers, to ensure they’re correct.
-
This will help find grammatical errors and typos that might not otherwise be caught.
Remember: It doesn’t have to be long to have impact, but it does need to be clear and to the point.
Using the right keywords will keep you at the top of SEO searches.
