India Post Payment Bank (IPPB) is a service of payment bank offered by the Department of Post under the Ministry of Communication. The IPPB started the payment Bank when the Union Cabinet approved an amount to the Payment Bank in order to set the bank up. IPPB is different than another bank because it offers their customer with 155,015 post offices as access points and 300,000 postal service workers to provide a house to house banking services. Another key feature with IPPB Payment Bank is it's the door to door Banking Service.

How to Transfer Funds from IPPB Bank App

You can transfer the Fund with all the payment system like NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS. If you are not familiar with this Payment System then, in short, these are the only payment system that is used to transfer fund within India. All these fund transfer are different in terms of amount and time like RTGS and IMPS transfers fund immediately whereas NEFT fund transfer fund in time slots. Secondly, it comes to the amount of fund transfer-for IMPS there is a maximum cap of 2 lakh and for RTGS and NEFT there is no Maximum cap but RTGS has a minimum Cap of Rs.2 lakhs. Based on this data you can follow the fund transfer steps-

Set Up and account

  • Download the IPPB app from play store or from App store.
  • Click on the link “Open an Account Now”
  • Fill details like phone number, PAN Card number and proceed forward
  • After that, you need to fill the Aadhar Card Number
  • An OTP will be sent to your phone number fill in the required field and proceed
  • Go to the login page and enter your details. Now you have to register your account for mobile banking.
  • To do that Fill in your IPPB Account Number, Customer ID and Date of Birth and the registered mobile number
  • An OTP will be sent after filling the OTP you can set MPIN after that you can use your Payment Bank account to transfer fund.

Transfer Fund

Step-1 Open the app and login in using the password.

Step-2 Click on the send Money followed by Fund transfer

Step-3 Since you are using this for the first time then you have to set the Beneficiary of the account.

Step-4 You have three options to choose

  1. Account Number +IFSC Code
  2. Mobile Number +MMID
  3. IPPB Account Number

Choose any of these and fill the required details of the beneficiary in the fields. This process may take 30 minutes to 16 hours.

Step-5 After following this you can easily transfer fund with these options.
