How to stop sweating

by Susana Dione sp Epiepang N. Consultant EMB

Stopping sweating is an over statement, it is not advisable to stay without sweating at all. Sweat is a way of passing out body waste, so we can only try to reduce it, if it is excessive. When sweating becomes excessive, the best way of controlling it, is by detecting those elements that makes you to sweat in that manner. You can also take some dispositions to control yourself in the excessive sweating process, by using sprays and handkerchiefs. Someone sweating in the palms and will want to great his friends or visitors, can look for thick towels to always dry his palms.

In summer there is every tendency to find that you sweating, as a result of the heat of the sunny weather. It is not a must that summer heat makes one to sweat, but it is likely as a result of the extra heat that comes with summer. The tendency of sweating is when the body temperature, rises more than its usual average skin temperature. These mostly come about when the body is doing an extra task, like spots or making love. In the absence of all these, then the body temperature is controlled, by natural forces like (the summer heat, a burning bush, working beside a furnace, or working hard either mentally or physically).

It not a bad idea to sweat, especially when you really feel like doing, or if not it is advantageous for the body. One thing you have to understand is that, sweat allows your body to regulate your inner temperature. So when you sweat it is your nerves that stimulates the sweat glands, and by so doing you find yourself sweating. The area on which we notice sweat most is on our foreheads, palms, soles, armpits, and on the body. And sweating in this areas are mostly provoked emotionally, in the absence of natural heat.

The idea of sweating is at times very uncomfortable because, it provokes bodily discharge. Sweat is not at all pure water though it comes out as such; it contains a small amount of solute. Moving from a cold winter climate to a hot summer climate, it is obvious for an adaptive change to occur in the sweating mechanism. Nothing can be done to control this bodily discharge naturally; as such some people have adopted the habit of using bodily sprays, roll-on and strong perfumes.  But if you make it a habit to change you beddings and cloths regularly, will help to lessen the effect. I will also advice you clean off completely the hairs under your armpit.

Many companies are carrying out lots and lots of advert on the idea of having the solution on stopping excessive sweating, but theirs is focused on certain parts of the body not the whole body. Medically speaking, excessive sweating can be related to ill health. Another factor can be taking a lot of hot tea or coffee during summer; if you make it a habit then you are bound to sweat excessively, no matter what.

It is important to have it in mind that, you cannot stop sweating but you can reduce excessive sweating, which occurred as a result of one thing or the other. Good luck.
