There are several solutions to fix this issue, and one of the simplest ones is to restart the device and install updates. In this article, we will show you all possible solutions to fix this issue on your device.

Use the Hardware Troubleshooter

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Right-tap on the “Start” button.
  2. Click “Control panel.”
  3. Select the “View by” button.
  4. Select the dropdown menu and then click “Large icon.”
  5. Select “Troubleshooting.”
  6. Select the “View all” button that appears on the left side pane.
  7. Find “Playing Audio.”
  8. Run “Playing Audio troubleshooter” and then you need to follow on-screen instructions..

Update Audio Driver

To fix the volume is too loud issue, you can try updating the audio drivers. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Right-tap on the “Start” button.
  2. Click “Device Manager.”
  3. Find “Sound, Video and game controllers.”
  4. Tap to enable the list.
  5. Right-tap on the “sound card.”
  6. Select “Uninstall.”
  7. Now you need to download and install the latest audio driver from the manufacturer’s official website.

Purchase or Make an Inline Attenuator

Adjust Settings via Levels Tab

Lower System Volume

  3. Select “Sound.”
  4. Select “Default Device” button.
  5. Click “Properties and Levels.”
  6. Now bottom down and then check the level if it is 100 then you need to lower to 10 per cent.

Run System Restore

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Tap on the Start button.
  2. In the search field, you need to type “System restore.”
  3. Select “Create a Restore point.”
  4. Select “Next.”
  5. Here you need to select a restore point that you have created earlier to fix this issue.
  6. Select “Next.’
  7. Click “finished.”
  8. Now restart your device and see if the issue has been resolved.
