Steps to setup Toshiba Printer With Mac Device On A Wireless Network 


If your Mac and printer are already connected to the same Wi-Fi network, the printer might be available to you without any setup. To check,


  • Choose File and then Print, 

  • Now click on the pop-up menu

  • Choose Nearby Printers or Printers & Scanners preferences option and then select your device.


 If your printer is not available on your device, you can add it


  • On your Mac, update your software to install AirPrint. If AirPrint is already installed on your device, you don’t need to check for software updates.

  • Connect the printer to your Mac with a USB cable to set up Wi-Fi printing.

  •  After connecting the printer to your Mac, Download and install the Mac software of your printing device from the official website of Toshiba and use the printer’s setup assistant to connect the device to your Wi-Fi network. 

  • Once you setup, you can disconnect the cable from your device and your Mac Pc but the printer should remain connected to the Wi-Fi network.


Add the printer to your list from the available printers:


  • Choose Apple menu and then go to System Preferences

  • Now click Printers & Scanners. If you don’t see your printer in the list, click the Add button at the bottom of the list. 

  • A dialogue box will appear to list the printer on your local network. It will take a few minutes to appear your printer on the list. 

  • Now Select your printer when it appears in the list, then click Add. 


Note- If you see a message prompting you to download new software, make sure to download and install it.


  • When you add a printer, macOS can usually detect whether the printer has special accessories installed, such as additional paper trays, a duplex unit. If it is not, then a dialogue appears that lets you specify them.

  • Make sure that the setting you made on the printer is the same as your printer’s installed accessories to take full advantage
