Steps to Disable or Enable Whispersync

  • First of all, open Manage Content and Devices webpage.
  • Now, choose the Settings tab.
  • After this, turn Whispersync Device Synchronization “on” from below the Device Synchronization (Whispersync Settings).

Remember the following points to avoid sync errors:

  • In order to enable automatic syncing across your Kindle reading apps and Fire & Kindle devices, make sure you are connected to a wireless network. When you put your device to sleep mode and not powering it off, the wireless connection will not be disabled.
  • Once you finish reading, always return to the Home screen.
  • In order to view to view your highlights, bookmarks and notes on any other device, you need to save your annotations.
