how to set up an outlook account on android ?

After that, it is possible to access Outlook account right from the android phone. Here are few general steps to set up Outlook account in the android device.
- From the home screen, go to Settings.
- Then go to Add Accounts and then from the list tap on Outlook, Hotmail and Live.
- Enter the Outlook username and tap Next.
- Now provide the password and again tap Next.
- User can see the list of features which he wants to sync with the android device like contacts, emails, calendar etc. Select whatever features user wants to sync.
- The user will be asked the sync duration. He can choose daily, or after one day or two days etc.
- Tap next and then Finish to complete the set up.
- If there is nay issue regarding server then enter s.outlook.com.
- Enter port number as 443 or 993.
- Check the option for SSL/TLS for secured connection.
- Tap Next.
- Enter outgoing server as smtp-mail.outlook.com.
- Enter port number as 587.
- Check the option TLS for secured connection.
- Tap Next and then Save to complete the set up.
