How to Register Singapore Company online from India

What are the requirements for registering a company in Singapore?

Has at least one shareholder

The minimum paid-up capital must be $1

Have at least one local director or resident director

Stepwise Process to Get Singapore Company Registration

Step 1: Choose a company name and get it approved by ACRA

Give your agent 3-5 company names. Check if a name is available and register your chosen name with her ACRA for 60 days. This period can be extended for an additional 60 days. 

Your company name must be: 

Unique and related to  business activities 
Do not use vulgar or obscene language 
Comply with copyright and trademark laws

Step 2: Gather the required documents

Please submit the following documents to ACRA. 

- ACRA-approved trade name 
- Brief explanation of business content 
- Registered local office address 
- Shareholder, director and company secretary details 
- For foreigners: Copy of passport and proof of  address 
- For foreign companies:  Articles of incorporation (M&A) and articles of incorporation 
- If your document is not in English, please have it translated by a certified translator.

Step 3: Submit your application to ACRA

Once you have gathered all the necessary documents, you can submit your application to ACRA online or through the Registered Applicant.

Step 4: Pay the registration fee

A registration fee of S$300 is payable to ACRA.

Step 5: Receive your Certificate of Incorporation

If ACRA approves your application, you will receive a certificate of incorporation. This document confirms that your company is officially registered in Singapore.
