How to Reduce Wrinkles on Neck

As we get older, our body produces less collagen and our skin becomes less firm and plump. Women produce less oestrogen that has a negative impact on cellular activity. In addition, when it comes to aging neck area is the critical spot.

We have seen many women who have the flawless face but the skin near the neck are dull and aged. We must not only pay attention on our face area but also on neck. First sign of aging is sagging skin and winkles on neck.  To have younger and beautiful looking skin you need to protect and take proper care of it.

To slow down the process of aging it is very important to take necessary preventions to maintain and boost elasticity of your skin. Remember that the neck area is as sensitive as your face area so don’t be too harsh.

Many of us think that aging skin is inevitable, but the truth is that with the information and modern technology you can really look as young as you feel. You just need to do your part in order to see the difference.  If you are thinking that after crossing your 40’s how’s it possible to delay or reduce the signs of aging. Then let me be very clear it’s not too late to delay aging process. Still, there are various things, that you can do in order to look young and beautiful. Below you have few important tips on how to prevent and reduce neck wrinkle.

1. Moisturising: don’t neglect your neck

The skin of neck is as delicate as the skin of your face and the best way to delay the aging process is to boost its suppleness. Skin over here is thin and has fewer sebaceous glands, fewer lipids (which is very important to be protected from external factors) and fewer melanocytes. Thus it need extra love and care like your face. So if for long times you have been neglecting your neck then now is the time to take proper care of it.

Cleanse your neck; apply moisturizer, using an upward, circular motion. Massage it with moisturizer or use an anti-ageing cream that helps in preventing cell damage.

2. Exfoliate your neck once a week

To keep the skin free from ingrained dirt and dead skin cells it is very important to exfoliate it. So don’t forget to exfoliate your neck at least once a week.  Just like your face be gentle to your neck.

3. Use sunscreen

Apply sunscreen to your neck as it is also the much-exposed area. So add good SPF protection in our skincare and don’t forget to apply sunscreen to neck while going out though the weather is cloudy.

4. Quit smoking

If you smoke, then it is another reason behind aging so stop smoking. Heavy smokers are more likely to have excessive wrinkling that non-smokers. Smoking damages the collagen, and lip pursing and squinting creates wrinkles near mouth and eyes.

5. Stay hydrated

It is very important to stay hydrated as we age our skin loses it’s ability to retain moisture. Drink at least half your weight of water to keep hydrated from within throughout the day.
