Remove And Wash Your Laces:

A dirt and worn out laces can reduce the appearance of a shoe. So, it is mandatory to wash & replace the shoe laces at a regualr interval. New laces are a great way to improve your shoes.

Apply Leather Conditioner:

Use leather conditioner to enhance shine. A mixture of vinegar (1 part) and linseed oil (2 parts) can be used as a homemade leather care agent. Place it on the shoe, leave it for 15 minutes, then polish it with a soft cloth.

Use A Banana Peel:

Another easy way to keep the formal leather shoes fresh and shiny is by using a banana peel. All you have to do is the rubbing of the banana peel over the leather and then wipe the leftover banana remains with a soft tissue.

Polish your shoe:

Polishing shoe is an important way to make shoes look clean, fresh and new. Take a small amount of polish and place it over the shoe and start polishing uniformly. In the end, polish the shoes with a soft, clean cloth to remove the excess.

Avoid water:

There is no doubt that water is the biggest enemy of leather shoes. Leather takes a longer time to dry than other materials, and also water works against the leather. Linseed oil can be used to protect them from water.

By using the above cleaning hacks you can sustain the longevity of your formal leather shoes.
