How to Install Microsoft Office updates?

Microsoft delivers Office 365, Office 2016, and office Online that is productivity software to meet all your business and personal requirements. Being a Microsoft customer you always get upgraded with new and improved features of the office suite for your office versions. When you are at your office and collaborating with your team members, maybe one of your team members is using a very new version of office suite and another is still having that old one. If team members are having different office versions, then they will face problem to coordinate with the team members.

When you are using an old version of your office suite, then after some time you feel need to upgrade your office version. The upgraded versions are available with new and advanced features. These suites are already bugged and virus free.

There are a very few prominent reasons why you need to update your office 365, office 2016, and office online version. When you are working to build up an efficient and effective team, it is very important to coordinate with your team members. If you are working with a team then you need to collaborate with your team members to fix all charts, PowerPoint, or excel sheets. Keep updating your team associates to pool together with outlook.com email service while doing your work.

If you are using an old version of Office 365, Office 2016, or office Online on your PC, update your older version to new one. Here we are directing you to the steps that will help you to update your Office.

If you are using Office Setup 2016 on your PC:

  • Step 1: First step you need to take is to open any of your Office 2016 app, such as Word, Excel, and create a new document in that app.
  • Step 2: Now visit File > Account or you can open Outlook 2016 Office Account if you have access to that.
  • Step 3: Now after following these steps “Under Product Information”, you require to choose Update Options then go to Update Now.

Note: If you can’t able to see the Update Now option right away there on your screen then you may need to click Enable Updates first.

By following aforementioned steps you can update your Office 2016 account.

Note: If you have purchased your Office 2016 from the Microsoft Store app on your Windows handheld device or PC, then you can update Office from the same place only!

  • Step 1: First you need to exit all Office apps.
  • Step 2: Now just open your Microsoft Store app by typing "Microsoft Store" into the taskbar search and then press Enter.
  • Step 3: Now you need to Click on the, “Click the Profile icon”, and make sure you are signed into the Microsoft outlook account associated with your Office license only.
  • Step 4: Click on the, “Click the See More icon > and choose Downloads and Updates”.
  • Step 5: Click Get Updates and update your account

Note: If you get a "You're good to go" message after clicking Get Updates, you are suggested not to have any new updates to install.

 If you have Office 2013 version then by tracking following steps you can update your Office app.

  • Step 1: First open any of your Office 2013 application, such as Word, Excel and now you need to create a new document.
  • Step 2: Second step is to Click File > Account or open you Office outlook 2013 Account if you have then keep tracking on any office application
  • Step3: Now Under Product Information, please choose Update Options.
  • Step 4: Get the Enable Updates, if the option is available there on the screen.
  • Step 5: Now Click Enable Updates
  • Step 6: Time to Choose Update Now to manually check and install Office updates.

Note: Now close the "You're up to date!" window after Office is done inspecting for and installing updates.

If you are not able to update your Office 2013 version then follow up these steps to update your Office app.

There is a chance that your update options are missing under product information, and now About button is the sole option that is available to update your Office suite. In case you have a volume license or you are using Group Policy for your company to manage Office updates. It is the time to try Microsoft Update to get the latest updates.
