  2. From the settings go to “gear icon” and then choose Office 365 Settings
  3. From the Office 365 Settings select Software.
  4. Now click the Install button at the bottom under Office Software.
  5. After the completion of the downloading process open Finder, from finder go to Downloads, and then double-click Microsoft_Office_2016_Installer.pkg.
  6. Click Continue to proceed with the installation process.
  7. Click Agree to the license agreement then click Install to continue the installation process
  8. After the completion of the installation process you will receive a message saying "The installation was successful". Now Click Close to complete the installation process.
  9. Now select Sign in to an existing Office 365 subscription to activate Office 2016 for Mac.
  10. Now enter your personal hawkid@uiowa.edu address, and then click next.
  11. Now enter your Hawk ID password in the resulting Window and click Sign In  
  12. Now fill in your name, and other personal preferences.
