FFmpeg is the most famous open-source tool which is used to do many operations concerning audio or video files. These operations consist of de-multiplexing, multiplexing, encoding, decoding, streaming, filtering, and many others. Here’s how to install FFmpeg on Windows 10                                      

Downloading the FFmpeg installation files
Go to the FFmpeg online site for downloading the installation files.
Find the FFmpeg version which meets the processor requirements.
Press on the download link.
Wait till the downloading process gets finished.
You need to start unzipping the download folder.
You have to right-click on the FFmpeg file.
Press on the Copy option.
Click on the C drive.
Start pasting the FFmpeg file mentioned on the screen.
Now, you need to execute the FFmpeg command located in the command prompt.
Using the Environment variables for adding the FFmpeg to Windows 10 path
To turn on the FFmpeg file which is located in the Command Prompt, you need to right-click on This PC OPTION.
Choose the Properties option.
Go to the upper left-hand corner of the display.
Press on the Advanced System Settings tab.
Press on the Advanced option.
Click on the Environment variables button.
It is given at the end of the menu.
After the Environment Variables gets launched on the desktop, click twice on the Path option.
It is given below the User variables for Lamba column for editing that option.
Press on the New option.
Start pasting the C: FFmpegbin.
Press on the Ok button for saving a new option.
Now the FFmpeg files get automatically added to the computer on the Windows 10 computer.
At last, exit from the environment variable menu for using the FFmpeg file.
Confirm FFmpeg path in the Command Prompt
After that, you have to go through the installation process, click on the Window and X keys together.
Press on the Command Prompt menu.
It will execute the Command Prompt menu.
It is located in the Administrator mode.
After that, the Command Prompt launches on display.
Enter FFmpeg-version in the text field.
Press on the Enter button.
In case the FFmpeg gets downloaded on the Windows 10 computer, you will get the information which includes the configuration or number of the latest version.
But, in case the installation process gets completed, you will get the text which is mentioned below:
‘FFmpeg’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file.
