How To Get The Most When Selling Diamonds, Engagement Rings, and Diamond Jewelry

by Nic H. Diamond Expert
Do you have some jewelry lying around that you are wanting to sell?  Are you going through a divorce and want quick cash for an unwanted engagement ring?  In this article I will discuss different options available that will allow you to get the most when selling diamond jewelry.

Selling Your Jewelry Outright
This is the quickest way to turn your jewelry into cash!  However, you are going to want to figure out who will pay you the most!  Not every jewelry store or diamond dealer will pay you the same.  You are going to want to take your jewelry around to get several different opinions.  You might take it to one place and the offer you $1000 and the place around the corner might pay you $1500.  So it helps if you get several opinions.  Most pawnshops and diamond dealers buy loose diamonds, engagement rings, gold, and diamond jewelry.  Figure out who will pay you the most.

Jewelry Consignment
Jewelry consignment is another option for someone that has diamond jewelry to sell.  Jewelry consignment will allow you to get the most, however, it is not immediate money.  If you have a diamond ring, engagement rings, or nice size loose diamond it might be worth the wait.  Sometimes jewelry consignment can get you thousands of dollars more than outright selling it.  Not every jewelry store offers consignment so find the right place.

Find The Right Place To Sell To
The best way to find the right place to is do research on who is the best place to sell diamonds, jewelry, and engagement rings.  Research companies and read reviews.  Everybody will buy your jewelry for something, the key is to find out who will pay you the most!
