How to fix Support.apple.com/iphone/restore

by Emma Smith get all technical assistance
iPhone DFU movies are a great way to fix all the errors that have occurred on the device including when the iPhone is stuck on the screen support.apple.com/iphone/restore. This method can be complicated, and the methods you can use also depend on the type of iPhone you have:

Open iTunes.
Connect your iPhone to a computer using a USB cable.
Put iPhone in DFU mode:
On iPhone 8 or later: Click and release the Volume Plus button quickly. Press and release the Volume down button quickly. Press and hold the front button until the screen is completely black. Press and hold the right and down button for 5 seconds. Release the left button, but the volume down button will be pressed until the message "iTunes has detected that the iPhone is recovering" will appear.
On iPhone 7 or 7 Plus: Press and hold the Power button and the Volume button at the same time for 10 seconds. Release the Power button, but keep holding the Volume button until the "iTunes has found iPhone format" message is found.
On iPhone 6s or earlier models: Click and hold the button up (or side) and the Home button for 8 seconds. Release the top button (or side) without releasing the home button for 10 seconds. ITunes will claim to have found the iPhone in recovery mode.
