How to Fix ‘Office apps can’t be found’ after installing Office 2016?

The user may face issues after installing Office 2016 like they can’t find out the Office apps on their resp. Windows versions. There are certain ways to find out them from the ‘Start’ screen and taskbar in Windows 10.

Tips- The below solution is available or applies to Microsoft Office 2016, Office.com, and Office 2013.

Follow the instructions as listed below-

In Windows 10, if you have more than 500 apps in ‘All apps’ section then the possibility is that you wouldn’t be able to see your app shortcuts in the list when you look for it or when you search on the ‘Start’ menu.

Note- The issue with Windows 10 November update was fixed long back which is going to automatically download and install when it’s available. If you aren’t yet updated then contact Microsoft support team for the same.

If you couldn’t able to install Windows 10 November Update, follow the steps below to install the same-

1.            Select the option ‘Start’ in the right-hand side of the taskbar.
   
2.            On the search box type the name of the app like MS-Word or MS-Excel.
   
3.            Click on the app to start it.
   
4.            For Office 2016-
   

§  Choose the option ‘Start’

§  Select ‘All apps’ and scroll to the Office app like MS-Excel.

            For Office 2013-

§  Select the option ‘Start’

§  Click on ‘All apps’ and scroll to the MS-Office 2013 group.

Tips- For easy and fast use pin the Office app either on the Start screen or on the desktop taskbar. Right-click on each app and choose as per your choice ‘Pin to Start’ or ‘Pin to taskbar’.
