How to Fix Norton Antivirus Pop-Ups?

by Lucifer Parker Norton Tech Support Number

Norton is very responsive like other Antivirus software. It installs a toolbar in your web browser, pop-ups notifications even when you download safe files, and shows you various special reports and offers. You can set up Norton to make you notice when you have a problem. Some troubleshooting methods are mentioned in this blog to disable notifications. To get a quick solution, you must call Norton Customer Service Number to fix it immediately.

How to Get Rid of Norton’s Browsers Extensions?

Norton installs the Norton Security Toolbar and Norton Identity Safe browser extension for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer automatically when you install it.

The Norton Security Toolbar adds a toolbar to your browser but changes pages to show whether search results are safe or not. Your antivirus will automatically scan downloads whether you don’t use the browser extension. The Norton Identity Safe extension provides a password manager, but you must use other password managers too.

You must never use your Antivirus browser extensions since they present problems. In Google Chrome, press Menu and choose More Tools, then Extensions. Press the trash icons to the right of the Norton Identity Safe and Norton Security Toolbar extensions to delete them.

In Mozilla Firefox, press the Menu button, and choose Add-ons. Press the Disable button to the right of the Norton Security toolbar add-ons. Norton never seems to offer the Norton Identity Safe add-on for Firefox, so you have the toolbar to delete them.

In Internet Explorer, press the Menu button and choose Manage Add-ons. Choose the Norton toolbar and Norton Identity Protection add-ons under Toolbars and Extensions and press the deactivate tab at the bottom of the window.

You are required to enable Norton browser’s extensions later and press the “Don’t Ask Me Again” option in the pop-up, and Norton will not ask again in the future.

How to Disable Norton Antivirus Pop-Ups?
