How to Fix HP BIOS Application Selected Is Corrupt or Missing Problem?

The system performs a checksum test of the BIOS at the time of startup process. If the checksum is incorrect or improper then the BIOS is assumed to be corrupted. The error comes up with the “HP BIOS application selected is corrupted or missing. Please install the application and try again. BIOS application error (501) ENTER – Continue”. The CMOS checksum is invalid. 
The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted. 
Please check your BIOS Setup options to see if they changed.

First of all, you need to turn off your computer.
Now, press and hold the Windows logo key and the B key 
Next, you need to press and hold down the Power Button on the computer for few seconds. After this, you are required to release the Power button but continue to hold the Windows and B keys until the BIOS update screen is displayed or until you hear a beeping sound 
Once the BIOS is recovered, Continue Startup Button will display and a timer counts down. After this, you have to click the Continue Startup button in order to restart the computer immediately. The computer will restart automatically when the timer reaches zero.
Once the computer restarts, there will a black screen appears with a message similar When the computer restarts, a black screen appears with a message similar to the following:
A system BIOS Recovery has occurred. 
BIOS Recovery (500) 
Enter - Continue Startup
Further, you are required to press the “Enter” key in order to continue immediately or enable the computer to reboot automatically.
At last, once you restart Windows might display a message indicating that the computer was incorrectly shut down.
