How to fix Canon Printer E13, E04, E16 and other errors?

Meaning- E04 error occurs if the cartridge in your printer is not installed properly. 

Solution- Remove the cartridge by retracting the output tray extension and re-insert it by pushing it the right place until it fits correctly. Close the printer and use your printer like new.

Meaning- The E05 error code means the print head has not been installed or installed incorrectly

Solution- Remove it from the printer and re-install to make it work.

Meaning- When the ink cartridge run out of ink, the printer displays E13. 

Solution- Replace this empty cartridge with some consumables and your printer will be ready to use.

Meaning- If your printer’s cartridge is not compatible then it will display error E14. You can also diagnose this issue if an orange light blinks for 14 times on the printer.

Solution- Get the right cartridge for your printer to fix this error out.

Meaning- E15 occurs when your printer fails to recognize the cartridge.

Solution- To fix this issue, lift the cover of the printer, and check whether the cartridge has been placed at the right place or not. 

Meaning- Canon printer will display error E16, if the cartridge is out of ink. 

Solution- The obvious solution for this issue is to get this cartridge replaced by a new and then close the paper output cover.

It may happen that the different types as well as versions of the Canon printer show different error codes for the one problem. For example, when you install a computer on a PC with Windows operating system, the problem could be different than that of the Mac operating system.
