“I do like dressing up in the morning. I don’t overthink the process and I dress for myself.”

“I keep all my clothes in my closet at all times – regardless of the season. Since I am in so many different destinations and different climates throughout the year, everything must be easily accessible. I think colour coordinating is always helpful. I hold onto a lot and I have archives as well.”

Don’t invest in trends.

“I love costume jewellery but when you are looking for an investment piece, try looking for an estate statement piece. It’s always a great way to go because that’s something you will have forever.”

Every woman should own a structured blazer.

“You can wear it during the day, at night and to a black-tie function. It’s definitely multi-use.”

You only need one thing to go from desk to dinner.

“I really try to dress for my environment and what’s appropriate. If I’m going to a meeting and then have something in the evening, I might carry an extra accessory and put it on – that creates a smooth transition from ‘day to night’.”

If you’re a monochrome dresser, try adding other tones via accessories.

“I like to add pops of colour to an outfit in a watchband, a pair of socks, a belt, a bag or even a pair of sunglasses.”

Yes, sometimes, she’s just like us.

“During my off time, I can be found in my leggings and a sweater. That’s for sure!”
