1 Attach the DLC loopback connector to be the end of the vehicle DLC cable on the Honda HIM diagnostic tool


2 Attach the RS232 loopback connector (part of your PGM Tester equipment)) on the HIM


3 Connect the PGM Tester Adapter to the POWER socket on Honda HDS HIM device


4 The green LED flashes for 5 seconds


5 The green LED continues to flash and the yellow LED glows steadily, Press Enter button the HIM


6 The green, yellow, red LEDs flash alternately for 15 seconds


7 The green and yellow LED flash alternately.


8 Disconnect the DLC loopback connector, then press the Enter button


9 The green, yellow and red LEDs flash alternately for 15 seconds


10 When Honda HIM self test is complete, and the HIM hardware is confirmed OK, then green LED glows steadily.
