How to disable McAfee Safe Boot on your system?

McAfee Safe boot or Endpoint Encryption is a part of McAfee, a tool which provides Full-Disk Encryption (FDE) on Windows Computer. When talking about leading internet security software, McAfee name comes first. The program blends the excellent engineered antivirus software with anti-spam, anti-malware, and anti-phishing techniques that protect your PC with total protection shield against malware, trojan, spam, viruses, and from many other online threats.  

McAfee merges Safe Boot, an encryption as well as a strong access control tool into Endpoint Encryption tool suite.  Usually, it works effectively with no such negative comments from its valuable users.

But sometimes, you may face certain errors regarding McAfee.com/activate products, as no company can promise you with zero errors. Like the other products of McAfee, with this product too you may face certain technical errors, which are very common. Sometimes mingle up with your computer’s operation- depending strictly on your operating system as well as on the versions you’re using for Safe Boot.

Please note- You can’t disable the app but instead you can go for un-installation of that particular app if you don’t go for up-gradation of that particular McAfee app suite.

Look for the steps as mentioned below for McAfee activate disabling Safe Boot on your system:

      1.      During the normal rebooting process, you need to’ press F8’ from your keyboard, to restart your PC in Windows Safe Mode.

      2.      Click on the ‘Start’ menu from the taskbar.

      3.      Select ‘Run’ option then fill up in the open text field by typing “cmd”.

      4.      You need to enter the following command at the command box, click ‘Enter key’ to change the directory to the Safe Boot directory: cd C:\Program Files\Safe Boot

      5.      To remove the McAfee Safe Boot program by entering the following command at the prompt: SbSetup.exe-uninstall

 6.  Now you need to restart your PC, manually
