You can use your PlayStation controller to play games on your Android or other devices. But it depends on the Apps or games whether they support the controller or not, some apps are not compatible with third-party controllers. So, before connecting controller with your phone check if the game supports it or not.

How to connect and Use PS4 Controller on an Android Smartphone

1.    Take your Android phone and open its ‘Settings.’

2.    Click on ‘Connections/Connected Devices’ option depends on your phone.

3.    Open ‘Bluetooth’ option. Your Smartphone’s Bluetooth automatically starts scanning for the active Bluetooth device within the range, here you’ll also see a list of all already paired device.

4.    Now, take your Controller, click and hold the ‘PlayStation Logo’ + ‘Share’ button together.

‘PlayStation Logo’ button is on the center of your PS4 controller and ‘Share’ button is on the top-right side of the movement buttons.

5.    Release the buttons when the controller’s light will starts blinking. This means your controller is in pairing mode and ready to pair with your Android device. Make sure both devices controller and android phone are within the range.

6.    Now, start ‘Scanning’ by clicking the scan button on your android device.

7.    Look for the PS4 Wireless Controller name into the ‘Available Devices’ list.

8.    Click on your ‘PS4 Wireless Controller’ name into the available device list. This will start pairing and connect your PS4 controller with your Android device.

Wait for few minutes to pair, when you see ‘Connected’ below your PS4 Wireless Controller name it indicates controller is paired with the Android device. Try the procedure a few more times if it will not connect. Once your PS4 controller paired successfully with your Android device next time, you can use it on your device within a minute without doing this all.

How to connect and Use PS4 Controller on Chromebook

1.    Go to your Chromebook’s Settings.

2.    Click on ‘Bluetooth’ from the settings page. Your Chromebook’s Bluetooth will start scanning for the new available Bluetooth device within the range.

3.    Now, take your Controller, click and hold the ‘PlayStation Logo’ + ‘Share’ button together.

‘PlayStation Logo’ button is on the center of your PS4 controller and ‘Share’ button is on the top-right side of the movement buttons.

4.    Release the buttons when the controller’s light will starts blinking. This means your controller is in pairing mode and ready to pair with your Chromebook. Make sure both devices controller and your Chromebook are within the range.

5.    Return to your Chromebook and look for the PS4 Wireless Controller name into the ‘Available Devices’ list.

6.    Click on your ‘PS4 Wireless Controller’ name into the available device list. This will start pairing and connect your PS4 controller with your Chromebook.

Wait to complete pairing successfully. That’s it! Enjoy your game.
