How to Build an Email List Without a Squeeze Page?

What is the simplest way to build an email list?

If you have been in business any length of time, and you have not learned how to leverage the Internet - Shame on you.

The Internet is the fast way to garner customers, leads and sells. If they will not come seeking out your business, at least not initially, you can take your platform to them.

You have a tool that you can set up as a squeeze page that's overlook or under utilize correctly by most. Do you know what this tool is?

You can turn your blog or website into a capture page. Most bloggers think they are doing this, but they don't place an emphasis on asking for the reader's email address on every page.

I don't care if it is your about page, you contact page or resource page it does not matter, you need to ask for contact info: an email address will do.

Derek Halpern is the founder of Social Triggers, the top marketing / psychology blog with more than 100,000 readers each month says

"Here's the deal:

If you're running an online business, brick-and-mortar small business, or ANY kind of business, you NEED a way to stay in touch with your prospects and customers.

And since every single person in the world has an email address, building an email list is one of the cheapest, most cost-effective solution for doing that.

When's the best time to get started?

Right now. Don't wait for a "bribe." Don't wait for things to look perfect. Start building your email list today."

Who could argue with a guy who has over a 100K email subscribers.

On his About Me page, he asks "Have you signed up to get free updates yet? If not, enter your email below:" He does this not 1 or 2 times, but 3 times on his About Page.

When trying to build a list, most bloggers and most website owners have two problems:

  • You've clutter your blog or website page. To many things that distract readers from signing up as a subscriber.
  • You are not placing enough emphasis on getting subscribers. Just ask, - then ask so more.

I hope that you gain the courage and understanding that asking for an email address is a good thing and, can help you grow your business and retaining customers. But - you have to ask, ask..ask again.
