Open the AVAST antivirus on your computer from the desktop icon or from the taskbar.
Go to its Control Panel window and select “Firewall” icon to view the Firewall screen.
To stop the AVAST activity of blocking the software in the future without taking your approval, select Change in the Firewall Mode section.
Move to Interactive mode option and then click Apply.
Now, you have to click on OK button.
Once you select this option, this will allow you to allow or block new software.
Move to Settings button and then click Application tab.
A list of all the installed application will appear on the screen. This list can be longer depending on the number of software; scroll down the screen until you locate the software which is to be blocked.
Select the Block icon located beside the application name in the action section and click Allow from the list to unblock the software.
Go to Apply button to save the new settings and then OK to exit the window.
